TURNING LITTLE FACES TOWARD GOD
 
Westminster's preschool offers classes for children ages three, four and five on both the Lafayette and Opelousas campuses, and starting this year three and four year olds on the Calvary Campus. Children are nurtured and trained in a safe environment by teachers who love God, love children, and love to teach.

The WCA preschool consistently integrates character development through a wisdom-based approach to education. This paves the way for the systematic introduction and teaching of phonics, reading, writing, and arithmetic. Completion of the preschool program establishes a strong foundation in academics, as well as spiritual growth, which is the basis for success academically and relationally in the elementary years.

All pre-school students participate in weekly enrichment activities, which may include, art, physical education, cooking, drama, and/or library. The daily schedule includes snack time, morning and afternoon recess, and an after lunch rest time.
